Winter hatin', had me a blatz

A year between posts doesn't mean I died and went to Titan, it just means I still kinda hate the internet. But I return now to remind you that I hate the internet, and also winter.

Once again, SIBERIAN ASS TORTURE reunited this winter to play shows, write and record new songs, and screenprint our own shirts. In the near future we hope to have some cassettes of our new songs, and 7" EPs with a mix of new songs and old songs re-recorded. Start digging your graves now, because it's gonna kill!

Also, new OXYGEN DESTROYER recordings have been mixed and will be released soon to ravage your eardrums. Check out this early mix of "Good Morning America" and torch a cop car or something.



I and some friends also started a noise project called CRⒶCK, and we'll have some recordings compiled and posted online soon. Til then, get off the fucking internet!

Music to combat the cold should never be "chill"

Is it really fucking cold where you are too? Yeah, sucks doesn't it? Well, me and some friends thought so too and we started a new band! Click the picture below to check out SIBERIAN ASS TORTURE!

Featuring members of OXYGEN DESTROYER, this band takes a much different approach to punk. Lyrics were written in a matter of minutes and are simple, juvenile, and few and far between. Blending longer and heavier jams along  on the B side with shorter and faster ones on the A, this may or may not remind you of early Boston bands like JERRY'S KIDS, the lo-fi golden era of GUIDED BY VOICES, and maybe SLEEP on the heavier jams. But probably not, because S.A.T. sounds like it's own thing. The fuck you waiting for???? Check it out!

Analog is still king, records and cassettes are true feasts of sound. Anyone out there into lathe cuts? Been thinking about those recently.

the web is for stranded insomniacs

back in the bay for a week, remaining days are ticking down and i'm having a great time so far. today was the best day in years (and i've had plenty of fucking rad days in 2014!) so here at 2:30am i'm feeling inspired and sleepless. staying with good friends, but they are unfortunately asleep and living far from all and any of my other friends. i spent my day with a ton of them and i didn't want it to end, and am scheming how to do this again, the sooner the better. my friends are the best.

also, TLCwaterfalls was a rad jam thing i did with langford and takeshi. i wanna collaborate on releasing it to the public properly (someday!) maybe as a tape or lathe cut...

i think the "long"-"awaited" sequel to the BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS comp tape/zine will be reworked once again. yep, the "bruce lee scratch perry" comp may possibly change to a CD due to a relocation to japan… but maybe not. maybe it will stay a tape and include much more than originally planned. living on a tiny island will probably serve as a catalyst for many things, and being lazy is not likely one of those things.

now, to hitch a ride to dreamland.
